Who is he really?
This Little Alien actually embodies a human who feels like a stranger in today’s world. Immersed in a society where cultural richness seems to be declining, insecurity is growing, and the future is unclear, he represents the feeling of disconnection that many experience. However, he is not devoid of hope. With a deep nostalgia for the 80s, this character retreats into a colorful past, a world that seems softer and simpler, filled with timeless memories. Although this feeling of strangeness follows him, he explores the subtleties of our era, gradually trying to adapt.
An artisanal and technological creation process
Behind this character lies meticulous work blending research, drawing, 3D modeling, and craftsmanship. The adventure began with sketches and research to envision the Little Alien's appearance and personality. Then, using the Nomad app, I moved on to 3D modeling, allowing me to shape his expressions, postures, and even his accessories, like his cap, bucket hat, backpack, or his "Magic Dictation" transformed into "Time Machine." Thanks to Blender, I added "rigs" (skeleton) to animate him, giving him even more life and flexibility.
Once the modeling was completed, the Little Alien was printed in resin, a technology that captures every detail with incredible precision. Each figurine is then hand-painted, giving each model a unique touch. This long but exciting step adds the final character to each Alien.
Launch of the "Alien Invasion" movement
The story doesn’t stop there. This Little Alien has hit the road and is now traveling the world, creating what I call the "Alien Invasion" movement. On my website, you can track his travels and landings on a map that marks every place he visits. Whether it’s figurines, paintings, drawings, or frames, each arrival of the Alien is recorded. Among the first significant stops on his journey is Vietnam, his very first trip outside my workshop.
Before these travels, the first extraterrestrial representation appeared in one of my paintings, where E.T. is depicted through the eyes of an Aboriginal painter. In this artwork, the artist sits, painting an E.T. in an Aboriginal style, with the famous Uluru rock in the background and a UFO in the sky. This painting, a tribute to Aboriginal culture and the pop culture of the 80s, symbolizes one of the first appearances of the Alien in my artistic universe.
Growing enthusiasm
Since my first posts on social media, the Little Alien has captivated the public's attention. With its mischievous and emotional story, it has resonated with many people who see themselves in its universe. This character, both funny and touching, has become much more than just a figurine: it embodies a true artistic adventure that travels the world thanks to collectors.
I am also delighted to announce that one of my Aliens has joined the studio of the YouTuber Indiana Fraise, known for his explorations of mysteries and strange phenomena, including UFOs and extraterrestrials.
